Step aboard as we take you on a flight from Nice to Monaco on one of our indulgent new helicopters

Nice to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

The beautiful views start as soon as you take off from the heliport at Nice International Airport. The cosmopolitan city of Nice is famous for its pebble beaches that create a unique effect on the hue of the water. The pebbles are called galets and, from above, the effect is just as remarkable as you fly over the clear blue waters that lap onto a ribbon of beaches. The beaches follow the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels) to the foot of Mont Boron in the east.

The helicopter then flies past the charming fishing village of Villefranche-sur-mer, nestled in a bay that adjoins Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The rugged promontory of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat has long been the playground of multi-millionaires and famous faces. The forested peninsula remains remarkably unspoilt and the sea surrounding it is often dotted with superyachts. The craggy green beauty of the peninsula creates an emerald-like impression against the sapphire sea and perfectly camouflages grand villas and gardens.

Eze to Monaco

After passing the picturesque coastal town of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, the helicopter ride reveals unparalleled bird’s eye views of the medieval village of Eze, which is perched atop a rock overlooking the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula. Eze is built around an eagle’s nest-style 12th-century castle that commands scenic views of the countryside and coast below. There is only one way you can beat the views offered from the castle and that’s by helicopter.

You can also see the three Corniche Roads which link Nice to Menton and have been immortalised in Hitchcock and James Bond films. The High Corniche Road dates back to Roman times when it was called the Via Aurelia and used to conquer the West. The mountainous coast showcases the wealth of Monaco’s inhabitants in the amazing mansions and villas that sit above the sea with impressive views of their own.
