1 – PURPOSE:
The general terms & conditions of sale described below detail the rights and obligations of the company S.A.M Monacair and his customer in connection with the sale of passenger transport by helicopter on the scheduled route Monaco – Nice Airport Côte d’Azur – Monaco. Any service executed and completed by the company S.A.M Monacair implies the unreserved acceptance of the buyer to these general conditions of sale.
2 – CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT FOR THE CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS
Monacair is liable to deploy all resources at its disposal to transport the passenger and its luggage within a reasonable time. In the case of a flight interruption, Monacair will organize the transfers via another means within a reasonable time. The carrier may, without notice, substitute other carriers, use other aircrafts; may modify or delete the different stopover during the journey if necessary. As stipulated in the Warsaw Convention (12/01/1929) and the Montreal Convention (28/05/1999).
The Warsaw Convention governs, and in most cases limits, the liability of the carrier in the event of death or personal injury, as well as luggage damage or loss. Schedules shown on the website www.monacair.mc and the different fee schedules distributed by Monacair and its partners may be subject to changes due to the imperatives related to the management of operations and contingencies. They are not guaranteed and have no contractual value. They are subject to changes without notice.
Monacair declines any liability concerning the connections to another airline.
The passengers have accepted all the mandatory procedures requested by the authorities which are to provide with a valid document of identity both for Monacair and the airlines in connection.
Passengers are due to respect check-in deadline which is at least 20 minutes before departure. Passengers are also due to respect the minimum connecting times with their connecting airlines.
Beyond this check-in time limit, Monacair on a commercial basis will make its best to rebook & transport on the first available flight. In case of passengers showing up at MONACAIR check-in desk outside the check-in time limits as described above, MONACAIR will not be liable in the following cases:
i. No more seat availability.
ii. No helicopter availability.
iii. Arrival outside the check-in hours, resulting in an incapacity of transportation on the last flight of the day.
The passengers agree to communicate to Monacair any information requiring special care (baby, fragile luggage or dimensions outside the authorized standard, person having difficulty to move, animals …).
Monacair reserves the right to refuse boarding and, more generally, transport any person who does not fulfil the above-mentioned conditions, as well as any person having a behaviour that the Monacair representative deems likely to cause prejudice to the smooth running of the flight or transportation including but not limited to drunkenness, aggressive or inappropriate attitude.
3 – CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT FOR THE CARRIAGE OF BAGGAGE
Monacair allows 1 standard size luggage per person (60 X 45 X 25) – Maximum weight: 21 kg. Monacair invites passengers to prefer soft luggage.
The passengers commit to communicate to Monacair at least 24 hours in advance any information requiring special care (additional luggage, fragile luggage or dimensions outside the authorized standard, stroller, animals, etc…) and assume the cost if necessary.
Apart from these conditions, Monacair declines any responsibility in the event of delay for the helicopter transfer and for the aircraft connections. Any specific request must be communicated to the Reservations Department: email@example.com / +377 97 97 39 00.
OPENING HOURS: Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 18:00 Saturday, Sunday,
Public holidays: 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00.
Any baggage that does not meet the required standard will be sent as soon as possible by air or by land and subject to an extra charge
4 – TAXES AND TARIFF CONDITIONS
The valid rates are those applied when the ticket is issued. They include airport taxes. In case of extra charge, Monacair commits to put in place the means to contact the customer who made the reservation within 24 hours before the flight (provided that the contact details in the customer profile are valid, and that the customer was contactable).
5 – PAYMENT CONDITIONS
No booking is considered finalized before payment of 100% of the total amount inclusive of tax and issue of ticket or electronic ticket. Reservations made on the website www.monacair.mc can be paid by credit card only.
Bookings made at the Call Centre or at the Monacair counter can be paid by credit card, in cash, or by Monegasque check. Payment by check is not accepted within 14 days before the flight.
Monacair declines all responsibility (s) in case one of these means of payment could not be accepted following any technical malfunction. Monacair reserves the right to refuse access to any person who has not paid 100% of the ticket price inclusive of VAT, and to any holder of a ticket or electronic ticket whose payment has been suspended, opposed or not validated.
6 – MODIFICATIONS
Monacair authorizes modifications up to 2 hours before take-off time only by telephone with the Reservations Department during opening hours: Morning flights until 10.30 am must therefore be modified the day before in the specified schedules below. Otherwise, the reservation will be considered as no-show (see chapter “Cancellations”) Monacair Reservations Service: +377 97 97 39 00.
OPENING HOURS: Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 18:00 Saturday, Sunday, Public holidays: 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00. Any complaints must be sent by registered mail within 14 days of the cancelled flight to: Monacair Service Complaints Avenue of the Ligures MC – 98000 MONACO. The letter of complaint must be written in French or in English. In case of refund, payment by Monacair will be made within 30 days after acceptance.
7 – CANCELLATIONS
Monacair authorises cancellations up to 2 hours before the take-off time only via telephone to the reservation department. Morning flights departing before 10:30 a.m. must therefore be cancelled the previous day in the specified schedules below. Monacair Booking Service: +377 97 97 39 00.
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday, public holidays: 9 a.m. – 12 noon and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Cancellation charges :
ONE-WAY / SINGLE: penalty of €40 per ticket, per passenger.
TWO-WAY: penalty of €60 per ticket, per passenger.
NO SHOW: Non-refundable, except for the total amount of passenger taxes.

Cancellation charges :
More than 1 month prior to flight: 30%
1 month to 7 days prior to flight: 50%
From 7 days prior to flight: 100%
NO SHOW : 100%
Any claims must be sent via registered letter within 14 days after the cancelled flight to the address: Monacair Booking Service, Avenue des Ligures MC – 98000 MONACO. The claim letter must be addressed in French or English. In case of a reimbursement, Monacair will make the payment within a period of 30 days after the acceptance.
8 – VALIDITY
The Premium card is valid from the payment of the membership fees of 200€ incl tax by the Member. It is valid for one-year renewable, without tacit renewal.
9 – CONDITIONS OF THE MONACO/MONACO SHUTTLE SERVICE
The Monacair service includes the transport between the heliport and an address in Monaco by non-private shuttle. For the best service, we request you to book your shuttle when booking your helicopter flight. On arrival in Monaco: Non-private shuttle transportation will be carried out as soon as possible taking into account traffic-related imponderables. Delays related to travel times will not be attributable to Monacair. Passengers who have not pre-booked their shuttle will not be priority.
For passengers departing from Monaco: The shuttle must be booked at the time of booking, or by calling the Reservations Service before 10:30 the day before the flight. Outside this period, shuttle subject to confirmation. With regard to pickups and considering that it is about transfers on the regular line and not of private flights, it is asked the travellers their greater punctuality to avoid any delay.
Monacair will decline any responsibility in case of delay of the travellers to their (them) pick-up. Passengers can, if necessary, directly contact our drivers Service at +377 98 80 12 91 within the time periods specified above.
10 – RESOLUTION OF LITIGATION
If a litigation arose between the parties involved, the resolution of the latter would first be amicable. In the event that the amicable agreement of the parties proves impossible, the dispute would be brought before the competent Monegasque authority.
